This is a beautifully restored early 1900s image of a young woman and children enjoying the grounds and lawn of The Great Northern Hotel. The hotel was built in 1895 and closed in 1925 and was converted to a boarding school. This image has been expertly restored, HD enhanced and colourised. The original print is dated possibly between 1900 and 1910.
