Great Northern Hotel

This is a beautifully restored early 1900s image of The Great Northern Hotel and its grounds and lawn. The hotel was situated adjacent to the Warrenpoint sea front. The hotel was built in two stages with the more elaborate wing completed in 1895. The hotel closed in 1925 and was converted to a boarding school. This image has been expertly restored, HD enhanced and colourised. The original print is dated possibly between 1900 and 1910.
