COI Cathedral & Market St Residents

This is a beautifully restored early 1900s photo of the Anglican COI Cathedral in Armagh. The photo was shot from Market Street looking towards Castle Street and the Cathedral showing a few people near the gates some of which are shoeless and probably destitute. The church has been destroyed and rebuilt 17 times. The image has been expertly restored, HD enhanced and colourised. The original print is dated possibly between 1900 and 1910.
